The Stripping Column can be installed besides your existing Deodorizer. The column contains highly efficient Structure packing which enhances the evaporation efficiency of fatty acids and volatiles. Packing increases the contact area between steam and oil multifold and thus the evaporation rate. This fast evaporation helps in higher throughput and the existing deodorizer will be used only as a retention vessel to complete the deodorization process.
Our special Design Columns can cut down high FFA levels in Rice Bran Oil to a very low level in one pass.
SparVac Heater and Economizer
A final heater operated under vacuum and steam sparging will heat the oil to the deodorization temperature. Specially designed flow pattern of oil and steam agitation gives better heat transfer.
Specially designed SparVac Economiser is meant to recover the heat in the deodorized oil using cold Bleached Oil. The hot deodorized oil enters the shell and flows countercurrent to the bleached oil flowing in the tubes. The heat exchanger is operated under vacuum and open sparge steam which ensures sufficient turbulence , better heat transfer and removal of volatiles. This helps in getting a more stabilized oil after deodorization.
